New design
Sampling
The Van Dorn Bottle allows samples to be taken at different water depths. The horizontal design of the bottle makes it ideal for sampling in stratified waters or areas with predominant currents.
Design
It consists of a transparent tube with a plugs at either end, connected by a latex band. The plugs are kept open during the descent, which facilitates the passage of the water. Each plug has a tap so the sample can be retrieved.
Different sizes
Manufactured in 5 sizes, according the sampling volume. Its inside is free of metallic objects in order to maintain the conditions of the sample.
New trigger
The top includes the new bottle trigger that allows it to be closed at the desired depth using a menssenger. This new trigger also acts as the system for attaching the bottle to the main line.

Design
- The new trigger (messenger operated) was designed to facilitate the loading of the bottle. It also allows the bottle to be attached to the main line.
- All bottles include a tap on each plug to facilitate the removal of the sample.
- It is possible to add a thermometer (range -10ĀŗC/50ĀŗC ) into the bottle, making it easy to see the temperature of the sample.
- The 5kg Van Dorn weight may be added to improve the verticality of the sampling.
